The death of a much-loved pet can be truly heart-breaking.

We all know that our pets are incredibly special and we form a close bond with them over the years, becoming part of the family. In fact for many of us they can be the family we never had, we don’t argue with our pets, they purely give us unconditional love. So when they pass it's no surprise that many of us can feel empty and struggle with grief. Therefore, if you are finding it hard to cope after your pet's passing, it's important to talk to your family, friend or a specialist bereavement service who can help with support and counselling.
The loss of your pet is always heart wrenching and thinking through the practical and emotional tools for dealing with it ahead of time can help ease the pain. It might not mend your broken heart completely, but it’ll provide a slight cushion through the hardest of times and in time you'll remember the great times you shared.
These happy memories can be shared during a ceremony to celebrate their life. This can be after they’ve passed or as a memorial service and can take place in your garden, favourite walking grounds or preferred location. The ceremony can be researched, written and conducted by a trained celebrant and is a lovely way of saying goodbye to your treasured friend and remembering the happy time you shared. In addition a bespoke poem capturing what they meant to you and the family and a beautiful memorial photograph can be a fitting tribute and keepsake to remember them by.
If you’d like a fitting tribute service written and organised for your pet, or you would like to discuss a bespoke memorial poem please get in touch.
